MERIMO: Mitigating Economic Risk in Military Operations

1 Week Course

Participants assess geo-economic risk and “know before you go” key country metrics, payment systems, currency counterfeiting risks, bribery and corruption risks, fraud risks, regional security issues, economic stakeholders, critical infrastructure, impacts of DoD/military operations on a given operating area, and threat financing risks. Students learn the questions to ask when setting up military operations right from the start. On the last day, groups will deliver short presentations for a select group of countries chosen in advance.
